James Connors is a freelance Industrial Designer living in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2012, he began his career designing kitchen tools and gadgets for Kitchenaid, Farberware and Reo. In 2016, he began his own design consulting practice from which he has been fortunate to consult with such brands as Peloton, CTRL-Labs, Bark & Co., and Colgate-Palmolive. In his practice of design, he is driven to bring delightful interactions and compositions to everyday objects and to sketch his ideas with the same quality. He finds inspiration in music, Samurai Jack, and the yo-yo. He also co-hosts the industrial design podcast, Minor Details, with Nick Baker.
